David is a Geotechnical Subject Matter Expert at BP with over 26 years of experience in ground engineering. He holds an MSc in Engineering Geology from Imperial College London and has worked globally on complex projects, including underground storage caverns in China, the London 2012 Olympic Park, and pipeline geohazard mitigation in Azerbaijan, Georgia & Turkey (AGT). Since joining BP in 2012, David has specialized in geotechnical and geohazard management for onshore energy projects, including trenchless crossings in Albania, Russia, West Africa, and the UK. His expertise in underground infrastructure and trenchless technology makes him a valuable NCE Tunnelling Awards judge.
