Chris has 22 years' experience as a specialist in engineering geology and rock engineering, with experience in tunnelling, cavern engineering, rock slopes, site investigation, foundations, earthworks, retaining walls, excavations, geotechnical asset management, landslides, engineering geomorphology, quarrying, mining and mining remediation. Chris is also experienced in leading technical teams, project management, staff training/coaching/mentoring (which he finds particularly rewarding), research, report writing, technical checking, reviews, risk management and assisting with claims and expert witness work. He is keenly interested in health and safety, the environment, sustainability and ethics.
