Petr Salak is Managing Director at Dr. Sauer & Partners in Israel, a Chartered Civil Engineer and Chartered Manager with over 15 years of experience in tunnel and underground space design. He is the technical and commercial lead for major civil engineering projects, including the Metro M2 Line, Western Galilee Desalination Plant, and Manara Hydropower Plant. Petr is a founding member of ITA Young Members, co-founder of Think Deep UK, and serves on the Steering Board of ITACUS. He was named ITA & NCE Young Tunneller of the Year in 2014 and remains active in advancing the tunnelling profession.
