Andy Swift has more than 29 years experience in the delivery of high profile complex
projects. He has delivered a number of successful major tunnelling projects using TBM’s,
Sprayed Concrete linings (SCL) and traditional square works. His tunnelling projects include
Angel Station Reconstruction, Waterloo International Terminal, Contract 102 of the Jubilee
Line Extension, High Speed 1 Contract 320 Thames tunnel, Kings cross station
redevelopment Phase 2 and the award winning Bank Station Capacity Upgrade Project.
During his career he has worked in both Contracting and client organisations at various
levels and through all project life cycles.
As Programme Manager for the Bank Station Capacity Upgrade project he is responsible for
the safe and efficient delivery of this £655m project to increase capacity at Bank station
through the construction of a new station entrance and over 1.2km of SCL and square works
tunnels linking to the existing station infrastructure.
