A Chartered Civil Engineer and Fellow of the IOM3, Maurice is experienced in heavy civils and tunnels with both UK and overseas experience. Maurice commenced his career underground in 1987 in the Docklands working for Miller Construction on an LDDC project and undertook numerous electricity and water projects in London, Folkestone and on the Isle of Wight. Maurice then joined the Murphy team constructing the Angel Station before moving eventually on to the Jubilee Line with the Aoki Corporation. After a stint in Singapore, Maurice returned for the CTRL with Hochtief-Murphy. In 2005 Maurice joined Balfour Beatty Management / Parsons Brinkerhoff as the Tunnel Delivery Manager for the Kings Cross Project and subsequently carried out several consultancy rolls including Doha Metro, Bond Street Station, London Bridge Station, Crossrail, Northern Line Extension and the Tel Aviv Metro. Maurice is currently the Deputy Delivery Manager for the eastern section of the Tideway Project. He has contributed to several publications including Construction of the CTRL Thames Tunnel. |
