Pamela Rigby is a Principal Geotechnical Engineer with United Utilities (UU) leading a team of geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineers managing the ground risk for UU. She has over 30 years’ experience working both within the UK and overseas on major infrastructure projects with a special interest in embankment dams and tunneling. A UK Registered Ground Engineering Advisor, currently active as both a Fellow of the Institute of Civil Engineers and a Chartered geologist and Fellow of the Geological Society she enjoys mentoring up and coming professionals in the area of ground engineering acting as a supervising engineer for ICE and Geological scrutineer for the Geological Society.
