Andy Swift has more than 27 years experience in the delivery of high profile complex civil engineering, tunnelling and infrastructure projects working in both regulated and commercial environments. He started his career as a Civil Engineer in 1990 and progressed into Project Management in 2000, working on various projects such as Jubilee Line Extension, High Speed 1, Metronet Stations Programme, Kings Cross station redevelopment, Emirates Airline (London’s first cable car) and the award winning Bank Station Capacity Upgrade Project. During his career he has worked in both Contracting and Client organisations at various levels and through all project life cycles.

Andy joined the Bank Project in August 2012 as delivery manager during the ICE process and is now the Programme Manager for London underground. As Programme Manager he is responsible for the delivery of this £600m project to increase capacity at Bank station through the construction of a new station entrance and underground assets linking to the existing station infrastructure. The breadth of scope and complexity of this project demands a collaborative approach from the numerous parties involved.
