Tony is a Senior Geotechnical Engineer within the Ground Engineering and Tunnelling practice of AtkinsRéalis. He has seven years’ experience working as a consultant in the civil engineering industry. He is a Chartered Civil Engineer, specialising in geotechnical design and asset management and is also on the UK Register of Ground Engineering Professionals (RoGEP). Tony sits on the BGA Executive Committee as the Honorary Treasurer and as the representative for Ground Forum. These appointments follow his extensive work in the BGA’s Early Career Group. Tony’s background is primarily focused on the transportation, buildings & places, and water sectors, working across the full project lifecycle. His portfolio includes the A14 C2H Improvement Scheme, the M25 DBFO, Southern Water AMP7 and Thames Water AMP7 and SROs. He has a particular interest in value engineering within geotechnical design and construction, as well as reinforcing the importance of geotechnical asset management best practice.
