Since joining Atkins in 1997 as a Geotechnical Engineer, I have been involved in several of the company's largest infrastructure projects, such as the A30/A35 DBFO, M6 Toll, M1 J6a to 10 Widening, Silvertown Tunnel, M25 DBFO & LUS, A14 Cambridge to Huntingdon Improvement, and more recently, East West Rail Phase 2. My areas of expertise include ground investigation, earthworks, foundation engineering, as well as road and rail geotechnics, complemented by data management. Additionally, I serve on the AGS Data Management Committee and the BSI Committee B/526/03/03 BS 8574, which is responsible for developing a National Standard for geotechnical data management.
